A classic weekday staple, this keto pasta bolognese could be on your dinner table tonight! 6g carbs per portion and with a hint of garlic and paprika — this is sure to satisfy any pasta lover.
500g Beef Mince
400g Chopped Tomatoes
200g Chestnut Mushrooms (diced)
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 clove Garlic
1 tbsp Ground Coriander
1 tbsp Ground Cumin
1 tbsp Paprika
1 tsp Salt
20g Lard
40g Low-Carb Penne Pasta
Heat the lard in a saucepan and add garlic, coriander, cumin and paprika.
Cook gently for about 5 minutes.
Add the beef mince and cook for a further 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the rest of the ingredients, and bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and let simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Put a pan of water on to boil, and add salt and a splash of olive oil or butter.
Once the water is boiling, add your pasta. Let it boil for 8 minutes.
Drain the pasta, and mix it in with your bolognese sauce.
Serve with some grated parmesan on top!
