This low-carb beef chilli is one of our favourites! It's packed full of flavour, and you can easily adjust the spiciness to ensure it's a hit with the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 500g Beef Mince
  • 1 tin Chopped Tomatoes
  • 200g Diced Chestnut Mushrooms
  • 100g Diced Peppers
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 small Red Chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1 - 2 tsp Hot Chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp Ground Coriander Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 20g Lard
  • 100g Cheddar

Directions

  1. Heat the lard in a saucepan and add the garlic, fresh chilli, coriander, cumin and paprika.
  2. Cook gently for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the beef mince and cook for a further 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the cheese.
  5. Bring to the boil, cover with a lid and let simmer for about 1 hour. Stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve immediately with grated cheese.
