Really good! tender meat, lovely sauce. Will buy again.

This is a little bit spicy but despite that (I am not much of a spicy food eater) I loved it. I have made some palmito noodles to go with that. what a lovely lunch! will definitely buy again!

Sadly I have only had a little taste of this as it contains rapeseed oil, which is something I choose not to eat being clean keto. However, if the rapeseed oil is changed to butter, ghee, lard etc I will be buying it for myself regularly. It’s very tasty and spicy. It would be perfect served on a bed of cauliflower rice or cooked shredded cabbage.

I quite liked the flavour in this one. However I realise it has rapeseed oil in it. I won’t buy again unless the oil is changed. I’m clean keto. I like ready meals for the nights I cannot cook for myself, so it was a shame about this one

Really nice! Was very impressed, was the first ready meal that I’ve tried and will definitely order this again, easy to cook, very tasty with a good amount of spice and put with some cauliflower rice made a Perfect quick easy tea ! Looking forward to trying the others! 👍🏼

This was the first ready meal I tried out of my bundle and I will definitely order again. As spicy as you’d expect a Madras to be, very aromatic, and with a lovely sauce. I used the seeded sliced loaf to scoop it up and it was so filling (despite the portion looking a bit on the smaller side if you were to have it on its own). Thank you, overall great experience!

Rapeseed oil is unhealthy, because it is high in Omega 6 linoleic acid (ω6LA). The people who produce it go to extreme lengths to claim rapeseed oil is healthy, but that is just self interest.

If uncorrected, excess ω6LA intake may be obesogenic (due to biasing insulin sensitivity), and thus might thus need to be identified somewhere on the list of usual suspects in stalled weight loss.

ω6LA is considered inflammatory, which might promote edema on the weight side of things, but could be a lot more troubling for cardio vascular disease, cancer and various chronic optional ailments.

The half-life of adipose ω6LA is really long, and that during weight loss, other fats are preferentially mobilized first. This then is potentially an independent contributor to weight loss stall in particular.

Other adverse effects of excess ω6LA may include, but are not limited to:

•competes with ω3 where you need it
    •cancer correlations (mitochondrial disruptor?)
•strongly suspected in Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
•thyroid/liver effects: above a specific ω6LA titer, the liver, in response to thyroxine, decreases beneficial fatty acid synthesis and inhibits glycogen depletion (demonstrated in rodents)
