Erythritol alone is only 70% the sweetness of sugar, so this Erythritol is mixed with Stevia to increase the sweetness of the product, making it the same sweetness as sugar (1:1). As this product is the same sweetness as sugar, it can be used to directly replace the sugar in cooking.
Stevia is a natural extract taken from the leafs of the Stevia plant and contains zero calories. It’s extremely sweet, being 300-500 times sweeter than sugar. A small amount (<1%) is mixed with Erythritol to increases its sweetness so it’s comparable to table sugar.
