What you need to know
After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation from us. If you haven’t received it, please check your spam inbox; if it’s not there, get in touch!
Great news! We now aim to dispatch your order within 2 working days…unless it contains meat!
Please be aware that as all meat is cut to order, we must receive orders containing meat by midnight on Monday to ensure delivery for that week. We aim to dispatch orders containing meat on Wednesday to arrive on Thursday. Unfortunately, if we receive your meat order after the Monday cutoff, your order will be dispatched on the Wednesday of the following week.
On the day your order is dispatched, we will email you a dispatch confirmation and your order reference code for tracking. If you haven’t received a dispatch email, then we have not yet dispatched your order, so please don’t wait in all day just in case!
We thank you for your patience as we get set up with our suppliers and carriers.
Our delivery rates reflect the actual costs to us as a small business. Our aim is to simply cover our costs on delivery and packaging across the range of parcel weights and sizes required. As we sell perishable food items (most of which need to arrive within 24 hours and some that require the use of dry ice and thermal packaging), we have a number of constraints that raise the costs involved.
Rest assured, this is just as frustrating for us, and we are regularly badgering our couriers (and flirting with new ones) to give us better rates so that we can bring delivery costs down and pass the savings on to our customers.

Our Delivery Partners
We use a number of different couriers as our delivery partner, depending on the size of your order and the delivery location.
Please note while we endeavour to get your order to you in the stated time frame, we cannot be held responsible for our courier’s failure to deliver to the specified time due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. In these instances, we will, however, make our best efforts to correct the problem. Please email email@example.com to discuss your concerns.
Leaving Your Order Safe
There is no need for you to be home when your delivery arrives. Just tell us somewhere safe to leave your order, like a shed, garage or porch. Be sure to pop your instructions in the comments box when you complete your order!
Why isn’t my tracking number accurate or live?
Due to extremely high shipping volumes being experienced by most carriers during the COVID-19 pandemic, some tracking is taking up to a few days to become active. Once active, subsequent scans for your order may be missed, so your tracking may not always be live or accurate. Rest assured though that your order is on the way and will be with you soon!
For orders with tracking, your tracking number is sent to you via email as soon as the label is created and the information is shared with the shipping carrier. In most cases, your order is picked up and the tracking becomes live within a day, but carrier limitations are causing delays in orders beginning to ship, so there may be a delay in the tracking becoming live.
Our Delivery Terms and Conditions
The costs of delivery will be as displayed to you on our website.
When we will provide your goods
We currently dispatch orders from Monday to Thursday, depending on the contents of your order and deliveries from our suppliers. We will confirm this in a dispatch email to you. We will try to deliver on your selected date but such delivery dates are estimates only and we will notify you if your goods are not able to be dispatched within the agreed timescale for any reason.
We are not responsible for delays outside of our control
If our supply of your goods is delayed by an event outside of our control then we will contact you as soon as practically possible. We will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any goods you have paid for but not received.
If you are not at home when your goods are delivered
If no one is available at your address to take delivery, we may follow the instructions you have given us of where to leave the goods in the circumstances. If we leave the goods on your doorstep or with a neighbour, and they are stolen or damaged, we do not accept any liability.
When you become responsible for and own the goods
The goods will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the goods to the address you gave us. You own goods once we have received payment in full.
What will happen if you do not give the required information to us
We may need certain information from you so that we can supply your goods to you, for example, the quantity of food and the delivery address. If so, this will have been stated in the description of the goods on our website. We will contact you to ask for this information if not provided. If you do not give us this information within a reasonable time of us asking for it, or if you give us incomplete or incorrect information, we may either end the contract (and condition 10.2 in our Terms of Supply will apply) or make an additional charge of a reasonable sum to compensate us for any extra work that is required as a result. We will not be responsible for supplying the goods late or not supplying any part of them if this is caused by you not giving us the information we need within a reasonable time. If you provide us with incorrect information, for example, an incorrect postcode that results in the failure to deliver, we will not accept liability.
Reasons we may delay the supply of goods to you
We may have to delay the supply of goods due to stock shortages, to deal with technical problems, or make minor technical changes, update the goods or packaging to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and/or make changes to the goods as requested by you or notified by us to you.
